The Ghanaian Foreign Affairs Ministry, led the Substative Minister, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, confirms the safe arrival of 300 Ghanaians who were evacuated from Republic of South Africa.
This emergency evacuation follows 800 distressed Ghanaians who registered with the Ghanaian High Commission in Pretoria, R.S.A to be evacuted to Ghana following the Xenophobic tension in South Africa.
This is the first batch to be evacuated as the Foreign Affairs Minister has assured Ghanaians of the smooth evacuation of the rest. Ghanaian populace congratulate the Foreign Affairs Minister and the Government of Ghana for such timely intervention.
